So What Is X-Wave All About?

X-Wave was touted as an app using artificial intelligence to capture photos from websites - such as property photos from Zillow.

X-Wave is a scraping tool that grabs property images from the portals and creates a video "automatically".

I do not believe X-Wave developers asked for permission to use this app to scrape images and data from Zillow and other portals. It is highly unlikely they asked for permission from Google and Facebook as well.

This opens a very big can of legal worms ⚖️ and I am actively engaged in discussions with persons at the real estate portals.

☠️ This is what X-Wave peeps told me: "The product does what it does which is to get images from sites and make into a video. However, sites and images you use on the platform is solely your responsibility as the product itself does not violate any Terms Of Service."

I cancelled my X-Wave subscription because I am concerned about using this product.

If you work at one of the real estate portals, please contact me about your terms of service vis-a-vis "scraping" and web crawling.
